Plastic Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger is developed by welding experience of CALORPLAST Tube Plate Heat Exchangers wchich has been sold since 1980. Tube sheet, shell, end-cap are all heat-welded. (Tube and Shell separated type is also available)

There is no sealing parts such as O ring compared with traditional fluoroplastic heat exchanger, therefore, seal leakage and contamination problem are not emerged. This heat exchanger is best suitable for high-purity application.

Features

Suitable for high-purity applicaitons such as semi-conductor etching process
Light and compact because of its plastic shell integrated structure.
Able to find the most economical design because four types of material are available depending on conditons.
Low pressure drop: Tube side: 0.1乣0.5 bar Shell side: less than 0.1 bar

Shell乧 Integrated type (same material as tube) :
PFA, PVDF, PE-RT, PP
Separated type:
PE-RT, PP, PVDF, PFA or SUS, Carbon steel lining, Glass

Corrosive fluid, cooling for high-purity fluid, heating, condensor, evaporator

Applications for specific material

PE: Electroplating, Chemical Industry
PP: Electroplating, Chemical Industry (Its behavior under long-period stressing in the higher temperature range is better than that of PE)
PVDF: Chemical Industry, Ultraclean applications for pharmaceutical and semi-conductor industries up to the hydrogen fuel cell technology
PFA: Ultraclean applications in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries
